Overview

LocalCardShows.org is a public directory of trading card events. This page explains the information our site currently handles and the choices available for site analytics. It is operational information about this website, not legal advice.

First-party page analytics

When a public page is viewed, our own tracking endpoint records the page path without its query string, the referring website's hostname when available, a broad device category, a two-letter country code when our hosting provider makes one available, and a random anonymous session ID that exists only in page memory.

These page-view records are stored in Supabase and help us understand site usage, diagnose problems, and improve the directory. We do not store raw or hashed IP addresses, full browser user-agent strings, cookies, persistent browser storage, or analytics for administrative pages. Records are automatically deleted after 90 days. Requests carrying Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signals are not recorded.

Advertising and affiliate links

The site may add advertising, affiliate links, or sponsored placements in the future. If those features go live, relevant disclosures will be shown and this policy will be updated when their data practices require it. See our Advertising & Affiliate Disclosure.
